Log cutter/splitter

The log cutter/splitter is a very efficient firewood making machine. A hydraulically driven chain saw cuts the log; after cutting, the log drops automatically on the splitting table where a hydraulic cylinder pushes the log against the splitting wedge. Height of the splitting wedge can easily be adjusted according to the log diameter. A four-way splitting wedge is standard equipment; a six-way wedge is available as an option. Saw chain lubrication is automatic – there is a separate oil tank on the cutter/splitter for lubricant.

The cutter/splitter features safety guards required by the newest standards. The guards control safety functions – they must be completely closed, otherwise the infeed belt, chainsaw and splitting cylinder don’t work. It is also equipped with a hydraulic infeed belt and a discharge conveyor as standard. Hydraulic log lifter is available as an option.

The optional 10 m long hydraulic hose kit allows you to use the cutter/splitter as a free standing machine, further away from the loader if necessary.
