The heavy-duty timber grab is equipped with a stronger boom, hydraulic rotator, and a larger grapple. It is intended for the Avant 700 and 800 series. The arborist kit which mounts on the boom is also a standard feature. When cutting a tree you can push the tree down with it if necessary, instead of pushing by hand. There are also two timber grab models that mount directly on the attachment coupling plate of the loader – one with a hydraulic rotator, and one without a rotator. They are equipped with the same grapple as the A438973 HD grab.
