The Avant backhoe 170 is a compact digging unit, intended for 200 series loaders. The main focus in design was user-friendliness and straight forward construction. The backhoe 170 is a small backhoe, which works best in tight situations where space is limited. 

Boom movements are smooth and precise, which makes operation easy, even for less experienced users. To facilitate the digging, the frame of the backhoe is as low as possible, which gives unrestricted visibility to the work area.
