Stable and Easy to Use

Our loaders are built with operator safety and stability in mind. The low seating position in the front chassis and a carefully balanced articulation design lower the centre of gravity and keep the machine steady across uneven ground, whether that’s paddocks on farms, rugged construction sites, or sloped landscaping projects.

A rigid articulation joint prevents attachments from swinging sideways, while the hydrostatic 4×4 drive and anti-slip valves maintain traction in demanding or delicate conditions. ROPS/FOPS certified cabs and secure hydraulic multi-connectors add another layer of protection, giving you confidence across all applications.

Versatile and Adaptable

A front end loader is only as useful as the tools it can work with, which is why ours are designed around attachments. With hydraulic multi-connectors, you can change tools quickly and keep working without downtime, while the balance of size, power and hydraulics ensures efficiency in every environment.

Multiple cab options and added features like Opticontrol™ make Avant loaders adaptable for year-round use. Explore the full range of attachments to see how one machine can take on hundreds of different tasks.

Powerful Four-Wheel Drive

Every model in our range is equipped with a dependable four-wheel drive system that ensures safe operation in all conditions. The hydrostatic drive and hydraulic motors on each wheel provide smooth power delivery and efficiency, while the traction control system functions like a 4x4 diff lock to balance oil flow and improve grip on slippery or uneven ground.

To protect delicate surfaces and minimise tyre wear on harder terrain, the wheels can also rotate at different speeds. This combination of control and stability makes Avant a trusted choice, delivering the stability and control expected from a modern wheel loader across different industries.

FAQS

What are the advantages of a front end loader?

A front end loader offers versatility, strength and efficiency. With the ability to lift, carry, level and load materials, it is useful across construction, farming and landscaping. Four wheel drive and smooth hydraulic operation make it reliable in a wide range of conditions, while the option to use different attachments means one machine can replace several others.

What is the difference between a front end loader and a wheel loader?

There is no difference in how they function. A front end loader is the general term for any machine with a bucket on the front. A wheel loader simply refers to the same machine operating on wheels instead of tracks, which gives it greater speed and manoeuvrability for most jobs.

Is a wheel loader the same as a skid steer?

They are not the same. Both are designed to work with a wide variety of tools, but a skid steer turns by skidding its wheels which allows for very tight turning in confined spaces. A wheel loader turns by articulation, giving it smoother handling and more stability when working in larger open areas.

What is the typical price range for a front end loader?

The price of a front end loader depends on its size, capacity and features. Smaller compact loaders can start from around 30,000 NZD, while larger or more advanced models may be over 100,000 NZD. Pre owned loaders are often available at lower cost, and many operators also choose to hire loaders for seasonal or one off projects.

What attachments can be used on a wheel loader?

Wheel loaders are highly adaptable because of the range of attachments they can use. Buckets are the most common, with general purpose, light material and high tip buckets available. Pallet forks are ideal for lifting and moving materials or round bales, while bale grabs provide secure handling on farms. Grapple buckets make light work of tree trunks, branches and green waste. Other attachments include mowers, sweeping brooms, augers, trenchers, backhoes and snow ploughs. You can explore more options and see how they are applied in different industries in our applications section.
